TERRY FARRELL

Terry Farrell is an American actress and former fashion model who was born on November 19, 1963 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She started her modeling career at age 17 and moved to New York City, where she appeared on the covers of magazines such as Vogue and Mademoiselle. She made her acting debut in the 1986 comedy film Back to School, starring Rodney Dangerfield.

She is best known for playing Jadzia Dax, a Trill science officer and host of a symbiotic alien, on the first six seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine from 1993 to 1998. She was nominated for three Saturn Awards for her performance and became a fan favorite among Star Trek viewers. She also starred in the horror film Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth in 1992 and voiced Six of One in the animated short Tripping the Rift in 2000.

In 1998, she left Star Trek: Deep Space Nine to join the cast of Becker, a sitcom starring Ted Danson as a grumpy doctor. She played Reggie Kostas, the owner of a diner where Becker often hangs out, until 2002.
